Doc Talk is a free community education series Sanford offers in both Bismarck and Dickinson. The series features one or more of Sanford's medical experts speaking on a topic within their realm of expertise. The talk is followed by a question and answer time for the audience.

Bismarck: Understanding Common Heart Conditions
Atrial fibrillation, an irregular heart rhythm, and aortic stenosis, a heart valve that doesn’t open properly, are common conditions among North Dakotans. Join Dragos Balf, MD, a Sanford cardiologist, for a Doc Talk where he will talk about the signs, symptoms and treatments options for these two heart problems.

Dickinson: Advances in Cardiovascular Medicine
Join Sean Russel, MD, interventional cardiologist, as he explains new advances in cardiovascular medicine.
From renal denervation, a new approach to lowering high blood pressure, to left atrial appendage closure and new oral anticoagulants to help prevent blood clots in atrial fibrillation, there is a great deal of progress being made to treat conditions of the heart and vascular system. Join Sanford expert Sean Russell, MD, interventional cardiologist, for a Doc Talk where he will discuss these advances in cardiovascular medicine and more.
