Program effectiveness data

The Sanford Bismarck Radiography Program promotes the following outcomes:

  1. Students will complete the program.

  2. Students will pass the national certification examination on the first attempt.

  3. Student will be gainfully employed within twelve months post-graduation.

  4. Graduates will be satisfied with their education.

Program completion rate

Program completion rate is defined by the JRCERT as the number of students who complete the program within 150% of the stated program length. 

The Sanford Bismarck Radiography Program completion rate is calculated by comparing the number of students who began on the official start date in August, compared to the number of students who completed the program 23 months later.

The Sanford Bismarck Radiography Program has set a benchmark that 80% of students entering will graduate annually.

Credentialing examination pass rate

Credentialing examination pass rate is defined by the JRCERT as the number of student graduates who pass, on first attempt, the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification examination.

JRCERT requires a five-year average credentialing examination pass rate of not less than 75 percent at first attempt within six months of graduation.

Job placement rate

Job placement rate is defined by the JRCERT as the number of graduates employed in the radiologic sciences compared to the number of graduates actively seeking employment in the radiologic sciences.

The JRCERT requires a five-year average job placement rate of not less than 75 percent within twelve months of graduation.
