Sanford Health Great American Bike Race is Saturday, April 13

(Bismarck, N.D.)—The Sanford Health Great American Bike Race (GABR) is 8:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at Century High School, 1000 E. Century Ave. About 1,320 people will each ride for 20 minutes on a stationary bike to raise money for families of children with cerebral palsy and related disabilities.

GABR has grown to be the largest fundraiser of its kind in the United States. Since it began, GABR has raised nearly $1.4 million. In 2012 $241,822 was given to families to help them purchase adaptive equipment, therapy, wheelchairs and more.

Volunteers are needed. Contact the Sanford Women’s Health Center at (701) 323-6376.

To learn more about GABR, apply for funds or donate to the cause, visit or call the Women’s Health Center.
