Glucose 2 hour OB tolerance
|Specimen type:||Serum or plasma|
|Container:||Serum (red) gel or lithium heparin (green) gel|
|Specimen volume:||0.3 mL|
A fasting sample is drawn first. Patient is then given a 75g glucose drink. The drink should be finished within 5 minutes. Specimens are draw 1 hour and 2 hours after glucose was given.
