Administers physical therapy treatments to patients working under the direction of and as assistant to the Physical Therapist. Administers therapeutic exercises and modalities. Fits patients for, adjusts, and trains patients in the use of braces, prostheses, and supportive devices. Instructs and assists patients in learning and improving functional activities. Observes patients during treatments and compiles and evaluates data on patient responses to treatments and progress and reports to the Physical Therapist or assists the Physical Therapist in compiling this data. Graduate from an approved program and current ND PTA licensure required. 40 hr/week
